My responsibilities in this project included selecting and confirming the topic, designing and formatting the first three pages of the website, and coordinating the task distribution among group members. I also reviewed the materials collected by other members, added clarifications where needed, and finally compiled and organized all documents for submission.
We chose the topic “AI and English Pronunciation” because AI is becoming an important tool in English language learning, yet pronunciation is still one of the most challenging skills for non-native learners. AI can provide immediate, repeatable, and individualized feedback, which makes pronunciation practice more accessible even without a teacher present. This topic therefore allows us to connect current digital technology with a core area of English language development.
This round of task division and topic research helped me understand more clearly how a group project should be planned and delivered. I learned to communicate expectations, to check the quality of sources, and to make the final product look coherent even though different people worked on different parts. It also made me more aware of current discussions about AI in language education.
As a member of the “AI and Pronunciation” project team, my main responsibilities were integrating materials, designing and building the last three pages of the website, and organizing group tasks. I collected and combined academic sources and multimedia materials related to AI-assisted pronunciation learning to ensure our content was accurate and coherent. I used WordPress to design the website layout, add visuals, and manage navigation for a clear and engaging user experience. I also helped coordinate the team’s workflow and made sure all tasks were completed on time.
Motivation for choosing this topic: We chose AI and English Pronunciation because pronunciation remains a key challenge for ESL learners, and AI technologies—such as speech recognition and feedback tools—offer new ways to improve sound accuracy and rhythm. The topic connects language learning and modern technology, encouraging both teachers and learners to explore AI as a helpful but not replacing tool in pronunciation practice.
This experience strengthened my digital design, organization, and collaboration skills while deepening my understanding of how AI can support language education.

I was mainly responsible for gathering multimedia materials related to our topic, “AI and Pronunciation.” My task involved searching for relevant videos, images, and visual examples that illustrate how artificial intelligence supports English pronunciation learning.
We chose the topic “AI and English Pronunciation” because pronunciation remains one of the most challenging aspects of English language learning, especially for learners who do not have regular access to native speakers. With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, new digital tools offer learners immediate, personalized, and non-judgmental feedback—something traditional classroom environments often cannot provide.
Our group felt that exploring how AI supports pronunciation development would be highly relevant to both language learners and educators. It also aligns with the course theme of examining how new technologies shape the evolution of English learning practices. By focusing on this topic, we aim to highlight the potential of AI to make pronunciation training more effective, engaging, and inclusive for diverse learners.
In this project, I was responsible for the Background Information and Group Views sections. I also took part in structuring the website content and assisted in gathering relevant research and case studies to ensure the information was accurate and well-supported.
My motivation for joining this project stems from a strong interest in the integration of technology and language learning. During my own experience learning English, I noticed that many learners struggle to receive timely and effective feedback on their pronunciation. Traditional teaching methods often fall short in offering personalized guidance tailored to individual pronunciation challenges. The application of AI in speech recognition and pronunciation assessment showed me a promising solution—it not only analyzes speech in real time but also provides visual feedback, helping learners clearly identify and correct their pronunciation errors.
Through researching related studies and practical cases, I’ve come to better understand how AI-assisted pronunciation training can not only improve learning efficiency but also boost learners’ confidence and autonomy. It is our hope that this website will help more students and teachers learn how to effectively use AI tools to improve English pronunciation and communicate more confidently in real-life situations.

In this project, I was fully responsible for the systematic collection and in-depth analysis of AI speech learning case studies. By screening, evaluating, and benchmarking mainstream AI speech tools available on the market, I conducted an in-depth analysis of their pedagogical effectiveness in areas such as phoneme correction, intonation training, and fluency enhancement. This led to the construction of a structured teaching case repository. This work provides critical empirical evidence and content pillars for the website, ensuring the pedagogical efficacy and content reliability of recommended tools. It serves as the foundational bridge connecting technological possibilities with users’ actual learning needs.
My motivation for joining this project stems from observing the limitations of traditional speech instruction. In the past, many learners struggled to self-correct pronunciation issues due to a lack of real-time feedback. Upon encountering AI tools with intelligent error correction capabilities, I witnessed firsthand how learners rapidly improved their pronunciation clarity through precise feedback.
This discovery aligns perfectly with the advantages of AI technology demonstrated in research—it can provide personalized, contextualized voice training environments. Through this project, I hope to help more learners achieve effective and confident English expression in real-world scenarios.
